How
about an excursion in the classical Good Times District
of Cologne?
Things kick-off with "A", for Altstadt,
which is between the Dom (cathedral) and Heumarkt and
runs directly on the Rhine.
Here there’s, above all, on the weekend, tons
of Samba, music and fun in the bars, jazz locales and
restaurants of Cologne.
In
|
 |
the
Belgian district there’s lots of party- ing, but
marked with less folkiness. Media personalities,
actors, artists and stu- dents go out here. This
district is also a loved district for housing in
the city. The Friesen Quarter is the most beloved
fun zone in Cologne. Here, the selection of scene
bars at their largest.
Between the |
|
Belgian
district and the Friesen Quarter ambles the Hohenzollern
Ring from Friesenplatz to Rudolfplatz.
There, entice, all around, bars, clubs, and
restaurants with drinks, great food and music.
Anyone wishing to go out in an original Cologne
Quarter can find it in the southern part of the city
around Chlodwigplatz. The Zül- picher district or
quarter attracts (because
of its vicinity to the university) mostly younger people
and students, too.

Useful information about the
subway lines and connections in the city are given in
the chapter "Mobile in
Cologne".

beers. Above
all, one should visit the Bruegel for the

because their culinary offerings from Chef Kinsely
Paul are extensive and loved by "foodies".

than
12 roses and red wine selections. During the week
